Latest Achievements:

  • Recognised as Renowned Shot in both 50m rifle prone and the 10m Air Rifle Event at the 51stNational Shooting Championship Competitions at Ahmedabad, after making his debut into 50m Rifle Prone event at the Hyderabad Dist, Meet and secured a Gold Medal surpassing well established and Renowned Shooters of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Secured Bronze medal (Team) at the 33rd National Games, Guwahati, and ranking 8thindividually with a score of 588/600, and declared a “Renowned Shot” and placing second in Andhra Pradesh, the first being Gagan Narang, an Olympian currently the World Record Holder in 10m Air Rifle Event.
  • Achieved the Gold Medal at the 50th All India GV Mavlankar Shooting Championship (AIGVMSC)held at Asansol, West Bengal and also setting a New Meet Record (NMR) of 390/400.

NCC:

  • All India Best Cadet (Air Wing) NCC, 2004.
  • Received Prime Minister’s Gold Medal and Baton and Trophy on the Republic Day, 2004.
  • Received Chief Minister’s Medal for Musical Performance and Direction in NCC, AP.
  • Awarded Cadet of the Year (All Wings) NCC, Col. Chowdary Award by the Chief Minister Y S Rajashekhar Reddy on NCC Day, 2004.

Sport Shooting:

  • Won a Gold Medal and a Silver Medal in 10M Air Rifle (Peep) in Junior and Senior category respectively in 5th AP State Meet, 2004.
  • Also won a Silver Medal in 10M Air Pistol Event in Junior Category in the 5th AP State Meet, 2004.
  • Won Bronze Medal in Junior in the 10M Air Rifle (Peep) Event in the Hyderabad Dist, meet, 2005.
  • Won Bronze Medal in Junior in the 10M Air Rifle (Peep) Event in the 6th AP State Meet, 2005.
  • Won a Silver Medal in 10M Air Rifle (Peep) Event in Senior Category in the 7th AP State Meet, 2006.
  • Achieved the Gold Medal at the 50th All India GV Mavlankar Shooting Championship (AIGVMSC)held at Asansol, West Bengal and also setting a New Meet Record (NMR) of 390/400.
  • (Could not qualify for Mavlankar, 2005 achieving 373/400 short of 2 points due to injuries sustained 4 days before the competitions in a Head-on collision by a Lorry while driving car.)
  • Secured Bronze medal (Team) at the 33rd National Games, Guwahati, and ranking 8thindividually with a score of 588/600, and declared as a “Renowned Shot” and placing second in Andhra Pradesh, the first being Gagan Narang, an Olympian currently with an International ranking of number 10.
  • Made his debut into 50m Rifle Prone event at the Hyderabad Dist, Meet and secured a Gold Medal surpassing well established and Renowned Shooters of Andhra Pradesh with a score of283/300.
  • Achieved a Bronze medal in 8th AP State Shooting Competitions in the 10M Air Rifle Event.
  • Also placed 4th in the 8th AP State Shooting Competitions, with a tie for the Bronze medal with a score of 284/300.
  • Recognised as Renowned Shot in both 10m Air Rifle event and also in the 50m rifle prone events in the 51st National Shooting Championship Competitions held at Ahmedabad.
  • Won Silver Medal in 10M Air Rifle (Peep) Event in Senior Category in the 9th AP State Meet, 2008
  • Won Bronze Medal in 50M Free Rifle (Prone) Event in Senior Category in the 9th AP State Meet, 2008

Trainer to AP NCC Shooting Team:

  • On request from Cadets on permission from Group Commander NCC Group Hyderabad. Trained 12 cadets for Participation in All India NCC Shooting Competitions. They secured 4 Gold and 6 Silver medals in the 7th AP State Shooting Competitions.
  • Cdt. Sandeep of the team secured a Silver Medal in the 50th AIGVMSC at Asansol, in 50m Small Bore Rifle (0.22 Open sight firearm) Shooting event from the All India NCC Team.
  • Cdt. Sandeep was the only cadet selected from AP Directorate into the All India NCC Team, during the All India NCC Shooting Competitions held at Asansol during October, 2006.

Also Trained in Scuba Diving and Rescue and First Aid by the Indian Navy in Visakhapatnam in the summer of 2000.

Academic / Co-Curricular:

  • Editor of our College Magazine “Vibha” in Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vivekananda College of Management Sciences.
  • Organizing Committee Member for our College’s Management meet “Medha” for both the years.
  • Many accolades in various inter-collegiate Management meets at City and National Level.(details to be updated)

Project Work:

  • “Behavioural Economics – The basis of Stock Exchange”

A Correlational Study on how the various events within the wider environment of Politics, Natural Calamities, and even pure mass hysteria and panic can and will effect the ups and downs of the Stock Market. With emphasis on the 2008 stock market crash and the Reliance Industries (RIL) IPO.

Aspirations: To get inducted in to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).
